Introduction
Polychaeta (Greek, polychaites, "having much hair" or "many bristles") is a very diverse group of annelids. These worms are almost exclusively marine and can be very colourful: red, pink, green or a combination of hues. Over 5300 described species belong to 25 orders and 87 families.
