1. Biology of tunas, especially Atlantic bluefin tuna
2. Bouyancy aspects of biology of bloaters in the Great Lakes --- Bloaters (Coregonus hoyi )are an important element in the fish community of the Great Lakes. Bloaters make vertical migrations that seem to be restricted in the sense that they do not take advantage of the full range of vertical distributions that contain appropriate prey items.
